Nandrolone Phenylpropionate in short terms is very similar to Deca except its Phenylpropionate ester makes this compound a fast acting anabolic, used in the past to treat osteoporosis and breast cancer it was later discontinued in many countries for treatment in women and children and eventually picked up by athletes due to its ability to build muscle with minimal side effects. Many athletes use low doses of Nandrolone Phenylpropionate for the recovery and joint relief. These are not masking benefits like painkillers but true relief. Strength increase is also noticed but not the main reason for use of this compound. Regardless, this is one of the more common steroids used by athletes as a whole, both to maintain and promote muscle and joint health.
Although side effects are mild compared to the benefits, abuse of Nandrolone can lead to raised Cholesterol levels, growth in male breast tissue also known as gynecomastia, and high blood pressure to name a few. Discontinuing use will immediately reverse side effects in men, however women have to be careful and discontinue use in very early stages of virilization to avoid any irreversible side effects such as deepening of the voice. Due to the fast acting nature of Nandrolone Phenylpropionate frequent injections of every other day are common when dosing with this compound.
